A major new update for Fallout 76 is now available
It’s no secret that when Fallout 76 came out a few years ago it was pretty cheesy, but since then Bethesda has been gradually adding new content and improving the game. There are new additions and modes, and the game even has NPCs you can interact with, as well as a battle royale style mode.
Bethesda has already released a major new update for the game, aptly named the Inventory Update. Here are the key highlights:
- Store more! We’ve increased the stash capacity to 1,200 pounds so you’ll have more room for loot.
- -To keep your inventory in order effortlessly: you’ll now always know how much and what you have, thanks to three new tabs in the inventory menu – “New,” “Armor,” and “Food/Drinks.”
- What’s there that weighs so much? Now whenever you select an item group in your inventory, the description will show its total weight.
- Check first: the pop-up tooltips of the vending machines on the map will now show the number of 1-, 2-, and 3-star legendary items you can buy there.
- Construction mode gamut update: The outlines of items in construction mode are now highlighted in blue instead of green, so that colorblind players can more quickly see if the location is suitable for placing an object.
In addition, some UI changes also include new tabs for better inventory management. Players will now be able to separate protective gear from regular clothing, and there are improved organization settings to automatically stack items.
Among other things, the update fixes a bunch of bugs in graphics, quests, NPCs, clothing, sound, interface, and improves game stability and performance. Read the full list of changes here.
