Special Encounters

Godzilla trail. By searching the corpse of the peasant, which lies at the bottom of the trail, you will find Stealth Boy (in some versions of Fallout 1 the corpse at the bottom of the trail is not there for some reason).

The rusty truck of the Nuka-Cola Company. Digging around in one of the crates, with high luck you’ll find a crazy amount of money (10,000 caps at Luck 10, 5,000 at Luck 8-9).

A crashed flying saucer. On the alien corpses you will find the Alien Blaster (one of the best weapons in the game, but has the only drawback – a small kill radius) and a portrait of Elvis Presley.

T.A.R.D.I.S. is an instant spacetime travel machine from the sci-fi movie Doctor Who. If you get close to it, the siren will go off and the box will vanish into thin air. In its place will remain a movement scanner.

Bob’s Used Car Shop. Breaking through the doors of the store you will find two guns: the Red Ryder BB Gun (in the iron chest) and the Red Ryder LE BB Gun (in an inconspicuous wooden box in the upper corner of the back room). The latter always deals 25 points of damage, has a 100 round magazine, and requires only 4AP to fire!

A herd of talking brahmins. It happens, doesn’t it? And in Fallout 2 they started exploding… out of a great mind.

Tramp Patrick Celt. This is not a special encounter, but a simple random encounter, but a very important one! If you have a heart-to-heart talk with Patrick and sing a patriotic song with him, you can increase your Charisma by one point. You can also talk to him about the location of the towns – Dark Sands, Junktown, Hub, Necropolis.
